COVID-19 Safety Protocol
To our Valued Customers,
The health and well-being of your pet is our top priority. As news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely. We’re continuing to follow state and federal guidelines for opening with respect to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
We are updating our protocol, starting 3/15/21 clients will be permitted in the building for medical appointments with their veterinarian, euthanasias, or extremely critical cases. Masks and a temperature check will be required for entry and a maximum of 2 individuals will be allowed to attend the examination. We will continue to provide curbside services for technician appointments, surgery check-ins, and retail items.
Please adhere to the following safety protocols we have established for your appointment:

Medical Appointments: (UPDATED PROTOCOL)
You have the option of receiving curbside service or coming into our building during your scheduled exam. When you arrive, please remain in your car and a receptionist will check you in.
If you have chosen to attend your exam in person, the technician will meet you at the car to bring you and your pet into our lobby where you will get your temperature checked and sanitize your hands. Afterward, you will be directed to one of our sanitized exam rooms for your appointment.
If you would prefer to have your exam curbside, the technician will meet you at the car and bring your pet inside into one of our sanitized exam rooms. A doctor will call you and go over any medical recommendations and answer any questions at that time. When your pet’s examination has been completed, we will bring your pet and medications (if needed) out to your car. For your convenience, we have a mobile card reader to facilitate credit card payments.
When you arrive, please remain in your car and call our office (801) 943-2154. A receptionist will check you in. We will have a technician meet you at your car to review the surgery release form and procedure. Once finished, the technician will take your pet inside. When the surgery is complete the doctor will call you with post operative instructions and pick-up time. When you return to pick up please remain in your car and call us. We will bring your pet and medications (if needed) out to your car. A receptionist will take your payment and bring out your receipt.
When you arrive, please remain in your car and a receptionist will check you in. The technician will meet you at your car and bring your pet inside. When your pet’s treatment is complete, we will bring your companion back to your car. For your convenience, we have a mobile card reader to facilitate credit card payments.
Prescriptions & Retail Items:
If you need to refill a prescription or purchase pet food, please call in your request and we will prepare it for you. When picking up either item, please remain in your car and call our office (801) 943-2154. We will deliver items to your car where you can pay via the mobile card reader.

If your pet is in need of emergency care after hours, call our main hospital line for a 24-hour medical emergency service provider.
